Onslow County Schools (Onslow) wanted to give students access to important software but didn’t want to grant students and teachers administrative access. The district needed to balance security and access to provide the best education possible.
Onslow adopted Microsoft Intune Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), which empowers its IT team to manage and update computers and software remotely—even when they’re off the district’s network—without sacrificing security.
With EPM, Onslow teachers and students can use helpful software to prevent cheating on online exams—while the IT staff can set parameters for standard users to only run certain applications at the device level.
